David Axtell
David Axtell is a painter and illustrator working mainly in oils on canvas. Featuring landscapes combined with figurative elements reflect his interest in the ever changing surroundings of Cornwall where he lives.

Influenced by degrees in the paintings and reproductions of Edward Hopper and Laura Knight. With a contemporary appreciation for artists Anne Magill, Lisa Wright and Claeroen James.

David currently has paintings available for purchase from the Lighthouse Gallery (Truro) and Chase Arts Centre (Wadebridge).
